CAN YOU SPOT HIM

i've just joined Kirstenbosch National Botanicial Gardens...acclaimed as one of the great botanic gardens of the world... few gardens can match the sheer grandeur of the setting against the eastern slopes of Cape Town's Table Mountain. This is my take on the garden as i explore its many paths and diverse floral kingdom. i'm especially hoping to be able to see and sketch the birds and of course the plants and flowers in all there superb brilliance.

my reasons for joining. 6 minute drive from my home. it is expensive to visit kirstenbosch outside of a membership. now i visit for nearly no expense. for a woman

walking the mountains on her own...this is a safe haven. i can sketch and paint here without interference. record my findings in my journals....how lovely is that!!! and of course it is da da dah... breathtaking!!!!

carol is my sister. she lives on a beautiful farm in the eastern cape. she and her husband rehabilitated a baby monkey who had been electrocuted by an electric fence. the story restores my hope in humanity and the fierce determination of a baby monkey against all odds to survive and thrive. it's a post you must read. just give me a teeny bit of time and i'll tell all.
