just little ol' me...here at my laptop...fingers poised but frozen...feeling the fear. reminds me of The Story of the Wolves.
A Cherokee was teaching his grandson about a battle that goes on in every human being. He said to the young man. "the battle is between two wolves. One wolf is slothful, cowardly, vain, arrogant and full of self-pity, sorrow, regret, envy anger and fear. The other wolf is diligent, courageous, humble, benevolent, and full of joy, enthusiasm, compassion, empathy and faith".
The grandson thought about the wolves for a moment and than asked his grandfather.
"Which wolf wins?"
The Cherokee elder replied,
"THE ONE YOU FEED"

a fear of inadequacy and failure can put your life on hold. it did me until I realized we must just start moving in the direction we think we need to go and if it's the wrong direction then turn the steering wheel until we find the right direction. i'm on the way down the path of self discovery...lots to learn so bear with me please... join me...all welcome...lets get to know each other.

I love to journal and document and record significant events and some not so significant...i'm curious and inquisitive about many things but my life is a simple one ...living in one of the most beautiful places in the world... Van Riebeeck named it the fairest cape in all the world and he wasn't wrong..come along with me. lots to see.

that's all from me today...birds chirping...cats purring...santo and johnny singin'.
