A MAGICAL PLACE

its not a month goes by that i don't visit The Greenhouse in Newlands. the most beautiful nursery set under a canopy of palms and v.v. old camphor trees. Newlands is a magnificent suburb in the heart of cape town and in my humble opinion the most spectacularly beautiful. it is my favorite suburb although i don't live there. i belong to that rare breed called gardeners.. the plant kingdom in all its diverse beauty refreshes my soul like no other. washes over me with its perfumes colours intriguing shapes and various leaf formations...i am entranced and humbled by the creators hand in the sheer brilliance of it all. imagine a world with no trees, flowers, greenery. i cannot!

breakfast at The Gardeners Cottage is such a treat.sitting under the majestic trees. i pause to ponder the beauty of it all and realize how lucky we are to have all these amazing spots right here on our doorstep

gah!! takes. my. breath.away. a wander around Montebello reveals many interesting and quaint shops which I will show you in another post sometime...its the nursery and tea and scones under the trees... for today. hope you lovin' it as much as I. let me know in the comments below
